NDIS plan

An NDIS plan has information about:

a participant and their goals
what supports a participant needs
what supports the NDIS will pay for.

Nominee

A nominee is someone a participant chooses to:

make decisions for them
do things they cannot do on their own.

A group of participants.

Participants

Participants are people with disability who take part in the NDIS.

Plan reassessment

A plan reassessment is when the NDIA checks if the supports in an NDIS plan still work well for a participant.

Supported decision making

Supported decision making is when someone supports a participant to make decisions about their life.

Supported independent living (SIL)

SIL is when people with disability live in their own home but get support to do daily tasks.
